Cultivating the science communication culture in Singapore and beyond, by making science and technology accessible for the general public.

Seriously Science is run by the Office of Science Communications and Archives (OSCAR), a unit of the Agency for Science, Technology and Research (A*STAR) dedicated to making science accessible and relevant to everyone. We aim to promote scientific literacy and cultivate an interest in science, giving you a stronger understanding of the scientific issues which affect your everyday life. To achieve this, we offer a host of activities for you to take part in:

- Seriously Science Talks
Conducted by A*STAR scientists with a passion for what they do, our science talks are held in public venues such as libraries, museums and cafes, to engage you on a wide range of topics.

- Events
We also bring science to you by working with various partners to organise public outreach events. For instance "Innovati50n Reconstructed", an interlude of science and art held December 2015 at the Art Science Museum, which featured 17 science-inspired art exhibits for visitors to enjoy; exciting hands-on workshops led by scientists and artists; and pop-up public talks.

During 2016 many more exciting things are coming your way. Like our page for updates on the latest activities available.
